How it works

Standard gas springs (also known as gas struts) provide a direct extension force. They are designed to lift heavy lids, covers, and panels with ease.

When the force of the gas spring exceeds the weight of the application, it extends. When closed, the gas is compressed, storing energy for the next opening cycle.

Key Features:

  • Dampened motion (Soft-Stop) protecting hinges.
  • Maintenance-free lifecycle.
  • Custom force setting (Newton) availability.
